History
The Rodman Group origins can be traced back to 1974, when Manuel Rodriguez, current President of the Group, founded Rodman Construcciones Navales e Industriales, starting then its activity in shipbuilding industry.
During these years, the Group yards have built and delivered more than 15,000 crafts. This track record and past experience have positioned the Group as one of the most consolidated shipbuilders in Europe.
With 4 factories spread between Spain and Portugal, the group has the largest industrial area in the sector.
Total area: 250,000 m2. Of these, 66,000 m2 are covered surface, allowing us to undertake an ambitious international expansion plan whose objective is to achieve an export ratio of 90% in the medium term. The total surface area is divided between Neuvisa-Tarpon and Rodman Polyships in Moaña, Metalships & Docks in Vigo and Rodman Lusitania in Valença do Minho (Portugal).
Currently the Rodman Group is the oldest company in Spain in its sector with a history of uninterrupted activity for almost 45 years and this year it turns 50

The activity of the Rodman Group is dedicated to shipbuilding, with a wide range of lengths and different building materials: steel vessels, GRP boats and fast RIBs, encompassing both professional and leisure crafts.
Neumáticas de Vigo S.A.U., created in 2001, is the group’s division specialized in the manufacture of the latest generation of semi-rigid boats. Neuvisa and Tarpon brands are world-renowned for their robustness and optimal navigation in all circumstances.

With 3 factories located on both banks of the Ría de Vigo, the Rodman Group has a total industrial surface area of 162,000 SQM, of which 43,000 SQM are covered surface distributed between Metalships & Docks in Vigo, Rodman Polyships in Moaña and Neuvisa in Moaña.
